unexpected token error < at line 1:1
« on: 17 Aug 2023, 09:13:45 am »
Hi,

I am getting this error in js console on chrome and i cant find any < anywhere

Code: [Select]
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<' (at 1:1:1)
I am getting it on every page so i assume its the header file

that line is this

Quote
<!DOCTYPE html> X     (the js X is right here next to html)
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">

does that mean i have some kind of output before the header?

solved.....      last week when i was messing with the jquery value i forgot to load the value into the variable so jquery was not loading at all.    That will teach me to check console more often, i thought this was something i had done today and i was scratching my head until i checked to see if jquery was loading and bango, nope...
