Well CodingForums is done... again.

Honestly I can't say I'm surprised. There's no way it was generating enough traffic to be profitable, the folks running it weren't making basic fixes like code blocks even being usable (as they were stripping formatting!), and it really has been a shell of its former self ever since they switched to a new domain as they were able to extract the data, but not the domain name from the prior owners/hosting. Which I always found a bit sus... hinky even.

Laugh is I quick-launched these forums originally as a "get it done in 8 hours" the last time CodingForums was going away as a "beta evacuation" site... since the cost of a forums like this is pocket change for me; at least at the current traffic levels.

I do wish I had more time to work on this and to keep up with you guys questions. Things have been hectic... though profitable.

You have to put the bread and butter stuff first… as without that you wouldn’t maybe even be able to offer these forums.

I do know the feeling about being busy with the day job, which is why I haven’t been around much as the side hustle has had to take a back seat!

And apparently now there's a new owner and it's not going down.

Look at you, stuck between a girl and a box. Story of your life, eh Doctor?

Yeah i started that whole process of asking about a new owner many months ago but chump was gone but i wanted to find out what he wanted for it.  But then i was gone and i missed my opportunity, chump came back and decided he would let it go but someone else got to it before me since i was absent.  Oh well probably better off as i have no interest in fediverse.   I hope it works out.
