First experience of the stack…
« on: 10 Dec 2021, 02:20:49 pm »
…flow will be my last…

So I added some further debugging advice to an question that was already answered and I got a load of “abuse” on how I didn’t answer the original question and my “reputation score” was too low to offer that advice? 🤦🏽‍♂️🤔

Hi there GYM,

the outcomes of  wanderlust are, very often,
not quite what you would have hoped for.  :o

It was more I happened to see something the answer didn’t mention so thought I would add it so the poster could maybe debug it them selfs in the future — but yes, sometimes the thought of something is better…

Stack is very harsh and not open to discussions. Very regimented with hardcore stackers that abuse posters.
To save time, let's just assume I am never wrong.

Nice to see little has changed in the decade since they deleted my account and every reply / answer I'd ever made on the platform. All because I DARED to contradict their "chosen elite".

Crack Overblow is riddled with bad answers, web-rot, and disinformation. If you even THINK about questioning 15 year old answers or post alternatives, much less try to have a discussion about it, you are GUARANTEED to get shot down by their insular, ignorant, echo-chamber mindset.

You might as well walk into an Evangelical Bible School and start trying to teach actual facts instead of fairy tales.
We are all, we are all, we are all FRIENDS! For today we're all brothers, tonight we're all friends. Our moment of peace in a war that never ends.

Ten years ago…. may I suggest the following book by Dale Carnegie:

How to win friends and influence people

I read that book about fifty years ago.  ::)

Today, I am an uninfluential recluse.  8)
