Coothead    i dont think the ukulele is for me, i remember tiny tim videos from my childhood, scary stuff lol

Your modesty is really admirable.

I am sure, though, that given the right circumstances , you will have
no problems whatsoever in delivering this perfect expletive on cue.

I hear Vegas was looking at offering odds on that, but the odds were not in the house favor so they declined lol

I'm a big fan of Sunday Uke group.

Well, I'm really surprised by your choice,  I thought that...

Hi,
anyone else getting code that looks like this on chrome, logged on or off.  Firefox has no issues i can see full code, no scroll.

UPDATE:  well first thing i noticed is that chrome is not adding the pre tag before the code tag, Firefox does.

DS  well not that bad yet but yeah i expect it to be unconfortable for a while.

Coothead,  thats funny, how interesting i might look into that if i just cant do the guitar right now, great tip thanks.

This morning i thought it would be great to have a device (box) that slid up and down the guitar neck with buttons on it so it does the strings for you.  Similar to a piano linkage, you push the G button and the linkage under the box presses on correct strings.    I thought wow maybe i can invent something like that, but something similar already exists...

More buttons than i was thinking about but similar.   I would have more linkage under it to reduce the buttons, who cars if i have to use the tool always, im not playing for anyone else..  lol

Hi there durangod,

perhaps you should have chosen a banjo instead of a guitar.

The  banjo only has five strings at most and, better still, will solve your
original problem...
Quote
"But I cant even play a G cord, my fingers don't bend that way"

The banjo is tuned to an open G Major chord
In other words, all of the strings are tuned to a note of the G Major chord.

Banjo or Guitar

Note, though, that I have no personal knowledge of either, other than that
I was told that the banjo was probably a little easier for a beginner to play.

I've never been able to play guitar because I hate how it feels... and I start bleeding in half a minute.

The strings pushing back on my fingertips feels icky. Tingly... It's not a good sensation. In fact it makes me want to vomit.

That it then slices me to shreds doesn't help, and it's not like I don't already have calluses from playing Sax or all the hobby work I do.
